July 22, 2014 Board Meeting Agenda Item #34 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #15-0259 FOR SARASOTA HIGH SCHOOL THEATRICAL LIGHTING SYSTEM AND CONTROLS REPLACEMENT Description Bids to provide 'Sarasota High School Theatrical Lighting System and Controls Replacement' were received from three vendors on June 25, 2014.  The bid of Candela Controls, Inc., was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications.  The funds for this purchase are contained in the capital budget allocated for the project. Recommendation That the bid of Candela Controls, Inc., to provide 'Sarasota High School Theatrical Lighting System and Controls Replacement' in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00, be approved as presented.
